AHHRM professional instructor training

 The American Red Cross offers comprehensive instructor training programs designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach lifesaving courses effectively. These programs cater to both new instructors and experienced professionals seeking to align with Red Cross standards.

• Requirements: Complete an online introductory course specific to the desired program area.
• Attend and successfully complete an in-person /online skills session.
• Additional Information: Prior to teaching, instructors must affiliate with a Red Cross Training Provider, ensuring compliance with Red Cross standards and access to necessary teaching resources. American Red Cross

PATHWAYS OF GROWTH: Gain Certification to become an Independent Certified CPR Instructor or Become a Certified Employer Based CPR Instructor. Your Choices will grow as you gain the experiences.

TRAINING PATH:  Total 18 Hours of Training and Passing a Comprehensive Written and Skills Based Exam.  Skills Checks may last up to 2 Hours on an additional 3rd Day if not completed and passed during scheduled training.

SCHEDULE PATH:  Must Schedule to Attend through the LINK 2 Weeks in Advance.  Packaged Training Materials are sent to you - Full 6 Hours of Training for 3 Days during the week from 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM Tuesday- Thursday or 2 Days of Training on Weekend for 2 - 9 Hour Days. All Schedules with Breaks and lunch included.

REGISTRATION:  Link Provides general Registration. All Participants after initial registration and downpayment completed must CALL-  (800) 591-5405  to schedule full training and confirm shipping address for training supplies at least 1 week prior to class start dates.  Schedule confirmation and Teams Training Link will be sent yo you for your scheduled sessions.

• Certification Validity and Renewal: Instructor certifications are valid for two years. Renewal typically involves completing an online recertification course and meeting teaching activity requirements specific to the program area.

You will receive an email with the full-day agenda and a link to access the Digital Platform Training one day before the training begins. Please ensure you have:
